The Pioneer X is the most recent version of Majacraft's entry level spinning wheel. Constructed from American ash with a clear lacquer finish, the Pioneer X has easy to use Scotch tension, a round orifice flyer and 5 ratios on the whorl supplied. It also has an integral handle in the stem for easy transport which folds away when not in use. The drive wheel is made from MDF with an American ash veneer which means it will not warp, spins beautifully and matches the rest of the wheel. The Pioneer comes with 3 plastic bobbins.

The Pioneer is also available as the Pioneer X Creative - a sanded but unlaquered version of the Pioneer X which you can finish in any way you like to make a unique spinning wheel which is truly yours.

Features: Scotch tension; 5 ratios on the whorl supplied (approx 4.4:1, 6.7:1, 9.1:1, 11.4:1 &14.5:1); integral carry handle; 3 plastic bobbins.

The Pioneer X and Pioneer X Creative are compatible with all Majacraft whorls, flyers and bobbins but will not fit the overdrive or high speed heads.
